I sometimes associate this as you taking a shower and cleaning yourself after you play a sport, it is also a sort of ritual. “What could I offer the queen of love in return, who lacks nothing at all?” pg 30 Gilgamesh being the most important king of kings, the richest, the greatest and can’t even be compared to a god. What I can see from here is that the barriers between the humans and gods at that time were really great and that a human so great as Gilgamesh couldn’t even be compared to a god. “Give me the Bull of Heaven that I may punish Gilgamesh the king, who has found out and told about the foulness of the goddess.” Pg 32 Sometimes if you overhear by mistake or if you like smuggle into some business that isn’t yours you may get in trouble and may be also killed for being a witness. “Two people, companions, they can prevail together.” Pg 34. In life for me the most important thing is to have companions and people that care about you and can help you in any time. Companions don’t only have to be your friends, they can also be family.

Why should he die and I be spared to live?” pg 38 Here I can clearly see the bond that has been created between Gilgamesh and Enkindu because they now talk of each others as brothers. Sometimes luck can get a person who is the same as the other and well you have to deal with it. “Gilgamesh was afraid and did not help me.” Pg 42 The first thing that came to my mind was treason because Enkindu had helped Gilgamesh when fighting the bull and Huwawa but now it was Gilgamesh’s turn to return the favor and he was afraid and didn’t do it.I sometimes wonder what would happen to a person that really needs that favor to be returned and never gets it back? Sometimes it will be very painful and mostly if the person that betrayed you was a very close friend or family member.
