Again I see that humans have a very big relationship with nature and the gods. When most of the humans die the gods commemorate them with making a natural formation out of them like a flower or a stone or a tree. What I can also see from this is that humans become nature to maybe show humans how nature is mistreated and abused and maybe humans may stop abusing nature. “My lyre shall celebrate thee, my song shall tell thy fate, and thou shalt become a flower inscribed with my regrets. Apollo and Hyacinthus”
This reminds me of the man that parts and his lover waits for him to come back. The lover waits and waits for his partner but the partner never comes. Sometimes the partner never comes, sometimes he stays in another place, but the only common event on this stories is that the lover keeps on waiting for the partner. “In the meanwhile Halcyone, ignorant of all these horrors, counted the days till her husband’s promised return.
“Halcyone is no more,” she answers, “she perished with her Ceyx. Utter not words of comfort, he is shipwrecked and dead. Ceyx and Halcyone.
